Artist Bio

We Play … You Sing & Dance!

Live Music from the 60s to Today.

Rhythm-Machine, formerly known as Lindsey Lane & Axis, is a 6-piece full production variety band with 3 outstanding lead vocalists, amazing energy, talent, & song selection coupled with an awesome light show—a full 16’ span of laser lights! Their phenomenal songlist includes very popular crowd favorites from Lady GaGa & the Black Eyed Peas to Patsy Cline & the Eagles.

Lindsey Lane is a dynamic frontline vocalist and entertainer singing about 40-50%, and the other two male vocalists make up the remainder. Lindsey’s vocal style is often compared to strong chesty top-40/rock vocalists such as Ann Wilson of Heart, Lady GaGa, and Donna Summer. Ralph “Rock” Bland (Lead Guitar/Vocals) sings a lot like Don Henley and Chris O’Neil (Harmonica/Rhythm/Vocals) sings a lot of commanding bluesy infused dance tunes with a vocal style similar to Delbert McClinton.

The band’s music is geared toward the groovin’ party & club scene—danceable and sing-along music favorites from the past five decades. Their song list covers everything from jukebox favorites, retro-disco, rock, chick-rock, pop, funk, alternative, new-wave, 80’s, old standards, country and much more. Their goal is to make your live music experience memorable and engage the audience to ensure everyone has a fabulous time!

Depending on the venue and allowable budget, Lindsey will often bring in additional musicians to complement the core of the band. For wedding and corporate venues, a one to three piece horn section may be added. For country venues, an acoustic guitar player or steel guitar player may be added. Base rate for each additional person is $125 (based on a 4 hour show).

Part of Lindsey Lane’s show is the fantastic retro laser light show. Lindsey has 16’ of trussing with a color wash and laser light system superior to any mobile DJ to enhance the audience experience. Lighting is extremely important and adds that “something extra” to any event.
