Artist Bio

Robbie Bartlett has been performing in Louisville area nightclubs since 1982. Her talent and strong sense of musical direction is electric and engaging. Robbie and her warm, smokey alto voice are heard regularly at popular Louisville clubs.

She started singing at the age of four and has a strong foundation in blues and jazz. Her styles include music that complements the blues and includes such tunes and artists as “Respect” by Aretha Franklin, “Good Morning Heartache” by Billie Holiday, “Give Me One Reason” by Tracy Chapman, and “Love Sneaking Up on You” by Bonnie Raitt.

When the Louisville Palace was renovated, Robbie was called to perform in Stagedoor Johnnie’s, the adjoining nightclub. When the Palace booked Dan Fogelberg, Tom Jones, Sheryl Crow, and The Righteous Brothers, Robbie and her band opened the shows. David Crosby and Graham Nash specifically asked for Robbie Bartlett to perform before and after their concert.

Robbie is in high demand at outdoor festivals, including the American Diabetes Association’s annual fundraiser at the historic Louisville Water Tower, Garvin Gate Blues Festival, Strassenfest, and the Butchertown Music Festival. She played three consecutive years at “The Best of Louisville Bash,” and recently performed in London, England, for an annual “Summer Ball.” Robbie also performs at private events such as weddings, birthdays, country club activities, and fundraisers.
