The Monarchs

The original Monarchs from the ’60s, playing all their original hits.

Artist Bio

Louisville’s Musical Ambassadors! Since the early ’60s, The Monarchs have been one of the most beloved groups in Kentuckiana. In 1961 nine teenage boys got together in a South Louisville basement and started a musical tradition that continues today. The harmony they created put them in the national spotlight and has sustained this group right into the New Millennium. Throughout the years, the faces have changed, but their commitment to good ol’ rock ‘n’ roll remains.
