If you haven't seen Caribou
lately, you haven't seen Caribou. Yes, the faces are
familiar. Yes, they still play rock 'n' roll, but even
more exciting, the band's playlist has expanded to include
Classic Rock, the best of Motown, and some of the funkiest
horn band music from the '70s and '80s. To say they
play something for everyone is an understatement.
Since "exploding onto the Louisville music scene"
in the '70s, Caribou has continually wowed audiences
with their straight ahead rock 'n'roll. In no time,
their energetic stage show and good looks earned them
a huge following. As the band members matured, so did
their music and the hottest nightspots around began
booking them for extensive periods of time.
With personnel changes, their music also experienced
a period of transition and they began to play more festivals
and special events. As professional careers and personal
lifestyles began to demand more and moe time, Caribou
decided to try a brief retirement. After almost a year
of taking things a little slower, they would like you
to know...they are back and better than ever!
Caribou features a full horn section with trumpet,
trombone and sax. The group has become a favorite at
the Kentucky State Fair, Derby Festival Chow Wagons,
Ceasars Indiana, Jim Porters Good Time Emporium, company
parties and wedding receptions. The group's versatility
makes them a perfect choice for any event.
If you are ready to dance, if you are ready to party,
give us a call and invite Caribou to your next event.
