The Diamondbacks consists of six-talented musicians
well known for always learning the music that patrons
want to hear. The band plays a wide variety of music
that people of all ages can enjoy. The Diamondbacks
will undoubtedly captivate every listener at every performance.
This group is guaranteed to draw in their listener and
make them feel like they are part of the show, not just
a listener of the music. Whether you are looking for
festival bookings, wedding reception or holiday party
entertainment, or to entertain your club patrons, The
Diamondbacks is your one and only choice for live entertainment.
Our diversity enables us to play everything from small
coffee shops to mid-size theaters to large festivals,
winning crowds over in a variety of music genres wherever
we go. The group originally was formed by Ray Chinn
and Jerry Lister in 2003 from the band Diamondback.
With original Bass player Joe Morgan, and Rex Hutto
on drums. In November 2005 members Dena French and Sam
Bowerman came over from the Desert Moon Band and old
timer Stan Kirby (drums) from the band Norman Rocks
Well. Now from The Decades we welcome Danny Elliot.
Seasoned player, been around as long as dirt. Danny
is a wiz on about any instrument. We also welcome Dennis
Ervin. His name says it all. He is an icon around Louisville.
Played lead for The Shirelles, and has had his own cover
groups here for years. What a mix. Artists we play include
, Journey, Aretha Franklin, Martina McBride, John Mellencamp,
Trisha Yearwood, The Steve Miller Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd,
The Eagles, just to name a few. The Diamondbacks have
a high energy show that is great for crowds of people
just looking to have a good time. We are very proud
as a band that we have a positive impact wherever we
play. Whether you're eight or eighty, THE DIAMONDBACKS
can offer you music to refresh your soul, and get you
in the groove.
