Katie McDaniel is a native of Louisville, KY and started singing in the 7th grade. Katie has a lot of energy when she performs, and you can tell that she loves it on stage. She sings at the Kentucky State Fair every year in her family’s tent. While singing in the Sivori Country Music Tent, she has performed with Karen Kraft and Olivia Henken. Outside of the fair, she has sung with the Sulcer Evans Band, Artie Dean Harris, and the Clark and Joey Band. Katie has sung at Wicks on Dixie and Puckers on Preston. Katie also sings in many competitions. Some include, Blue Ash Idol, Gaslight Festival, John E’s, and the Mike Linnigs Karaoke Contest. She received second place at the Gaslight Festival in both 2007 and 2008, the John E’s Karaoke Contest in 2007, and at the Mike Linnigs Karaoke Contest in 2008. You can always count on her to sing. After her family, singing is Katie’s next priority.
