Since 1998,V-Groove has established itself
as the premiere cover band in the Louisville area. Their
performances show fluency and versatility in the genres
of funk, R&B, Soul, and Blues. V-Groove is hard
to define due to this diversity. However, one thing
is for sure….everything V-Groove does has energy
and will make you move. The band plays regularly at
local venues such as Headliner's, Stevie Ray's, Steinerts,
and Uncle Pleasant's. They have also enjoyed headlining
events such as The Gaslight Festival, The Kentucky State
Fair, Thunder Over Louisville at Slugger Field, The
Hyatt Regency's New Year's Eve Event, Strassenfest,
Kentucky Derby Festival Events, and the annual Oak's
Eve fundraiser for the Make a Wish Foundation. The members
of V-Groove are experienced musicians that have shared
the stage and/or toured with a variety of nationally
renowned artists, including The Temptations, The Four
Tops, The Spinners, Leon Russell, The Glenn Miller Orchestra,
Steve Ferguesen of NRBQ, Delbert McClinton, Shannon
Lawson, Ian Moore, Michael McDonald, Kid Rock, Travis
Tritt, Clint Black, Taylor Dayne, and Rod Stewart, as
well as many popular local and regional acts, including
Greg Foresman of the Martina McBride band, Danny Flannigan
and The Rain Chorus, The Trendells, and For You. The
band has also been featured in the documentary, "V-Groove:
The American Dance Band" by the Emmy-award winning
filmakers at River Run Productions. The best way for
anyone to understand the energy, excitement, talent,
fun, and contagious groove that is V-Groove, is by seeing
a live performance!
