"VooDoo Lounge" was formed by
a group of veteran musicians who had been friends
for years, but prior to "VooDoo Lounge" never
had the opportunity to play together. Comprised of former
members of such high profile bands as "Fire Dept.",
"V-Groove", "Spanky Lee", "The
Shannon Lawson Band", and "Nervous Melvin
and the Mistakes", "VooDoo Lounge" is
a high energy, horn oriented, Rock and Roll band, intended
to be as much fun for the entertainers as it is for
the audience. "VooDoo Lounge" was designed
to be a loose, relaxed and ego free enterprise allowing
the musician to express themselves freely, without sacrificing
the integrity of the music or the entertainment of anyone
who comes to see them. It is meant to be a musical rollercoaster
ride for the band as well as the audience. Utilizing
powerful lead vocals supported by a solid drum platform,
a thumping bass line and ripping guitar riffs, and backed
up with an exciting brass section, melodic keyboards
and background vocals from all 6 members, "VooDoo
Lounge" brings total musical enjoyment to the stage.
